Who we are

This website is operated by Sovereign Wealth Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("Sovereign Wealth Solutions", "we", "us"), a strategic commercial advisory practice based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. This notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal information in connection with this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, organisation, email address, the details of your enquiry, and, where given, your preferred contact method. We do not collect financial, medical or other special personal information through this website.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If that changes in future, this notice will be updated accordingly before any such technology is enabled.

How we use your information

We use the information submitted through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a working relationship follows, to communicate with you about that engagement. We do not sell, rent or use your information for unrelated marketing purposes.

How your information is processed

Contact form submissions are processed via Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, which relays the submission to Werner Badenhorst's email inbox. Formspree may process and store submission data on servers located outside South Africa. Formspree acts as an operator on our behalf and is contractually and technically bound to appropriate confidentiality and security standards.

Retention

Enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry or, if a client relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship and any period required by law or professional obligation thereafter.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us, and to object to its processing on reasonable grounds. To exercise any of these rights, contact werner@sovereignws.co.za.

If you believe your information has been handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
